FPA38 measures the power consumption at 3-phase symmetrical loads, primary motors. From DIP-switches the actual measuring range is selected between 0-3,46 kW and up to 0-41,6 kW at 3-400 VAC supply, corresponding to 0-20/4-20 mA at the measuring output. If possible 0-10 V measuring output is available too.
The supply voltage for the module is 24 VDC, and the 3 voltage-phases is connected to the respectively terminals. The current is measured by taking one of the current phases L! through the build-in current transformer, see further in the manual.
